Serengeti in April: Embrace the Beauty of the Green Season

You can Visit the Serengeti National park and Tanzania in time of the year but you will have to choose the time carefully considering your interests and budget. The area has two seasons, the wet and dry seasons. The seasons also come in two as well. There are two dry seasons and two wet seasons in a year. The dry season runs from December to February and Mid June to September. The wet seasons run from October to November and March to mid June. April is one of the months during this wet season which runs from March to Mid June. Being that it’s in the middle of the season, we expect by this time that the rains have intensified.

Serengeti in April is usually not recommended time to travel since the trails are muddy and wet. This season is not so great to adventure but some people will take the muddy slippery trails as an addition to adventure. The wet season ill however limit you in some area like photography and it may be hard to film as well.

The wet months however can be the best time to adventure for people that would want to have the wilderness to themselves as the place is very quiet and has less traffic.

Try not to have very tight clothes while in the Serengeti National Park. Loose clothes will give you a chance to manage both heat and the cold.
