Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park
A pick up from the airport or at your hotel in Arusha with a packed food for a picnic lunch and drive to Lake Manyara (about 2 and a half hours). On arrival in the park, you will embark on a whole day game drive in the beautiful lush park.
Watch out for large herds of the African Elephants, impalas, buffaloes, baboons, giraffes, blue monkeys and the famous tree climbing lions though sighting them up in the tress is a chance of luck. For bird lovers, the algae in Lake Manyara attracts a good population of flamingoes in season. At the end of the day, you will check in at your camp or lodge for dinner and an overnight.
Day 2: Transfer to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, we drive out of Lake Manyara national park heading towards the famous Serengeti National Park with hopes of chances to catch a glimpse of the great migration. We shall go for a game drive in the Central region of the park, the Seronera area. The River in this part of the attracts lots of wildlife to the area all year round making it a one stop point for a chance to spot most of the wildlife that calls Serengeti home. Arriving at your camp or lodge in time for lunch, you will check in have lunch and after head out for an afternoon game drive to explore more of Serengeti National Park. Dibber and overnight at your chosen facility.
Day 3: Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Wake up for an early breakfast and later head out for a morning game drive into Serengeti National Park. Rise with the park at sunrise with chances of catching the predators on an early morning hunt or enjoying their morning kill. We shall then proceed to Ngorongoro Conservation area with our packed lunch. Upon arrival, we shall take on a game drive in the Conservation area. We call it a day and drive to your lodge or camp for dinner and good night’s sleep.
Day 4: Game drive in the Crater to Arusha
The early bird catches the worm. After a very early quick breakfast, you will be driven to the mouth of the famous Ngorongoro crater. Here you will descend to the floor of the largest volcanic crater for a thrilling game drive. Animals like the Elephants, lions, buffalos, hyenas, cheetahs, zebras and warthogs are found in plenty. You will enjoy your picnic lunch. After make your way out of the crater marking the end to your 4 days’ safari.
Drop off at the airport for your flight back home.
