Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Pick up from Entebbe International Airport

Your Ugandan safari guide will pick you up from the airport and drive you to your accommodation in Kampala/Entebbe. Welcome to Uganda.

Day 2: Kampala City Tour

After your breakfast, the driver will pick you up and take you on a city tour in the capital of Uganda, Kampala. Visit sites like the Old Kampala mosque, the Uganda museum, the Kabaka’s palace and more before you drive back to your accommodation facility.

Day 3-5:  Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

About 8 hours on the road to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in Southwestern Uganda. More than half of the world’s population of mountain gorillas inhabit the Bwindi impenetrable forest making it the best place to carry out the gorilla trekking activity. The once in a lifetime activity takes about 2-6 hours depending on the movement and location of the gorillas. You be allowed an hour to observe and marvel at the majestic creatures once you track them down in the forest.

Spend some days in Bwindi enjoying the relaxing views and sounds of the forest birds with optional activities available for you to take part in like nature walks, village cultural visits and or bird watching.

Day 6-7: Golden Monkey trekking in Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda

Depart Bwindi and cross the border to Rwanda driving straight to your accommodation near Volcanoes national park. Another population of the mountain gorillas call this park home. But for this day, you will be trekking the endangered Golden monkeys that inhabit Volcanoes national park. Just like with the gorillas, you will be allowed an hour with the golden monkeys, watch them swing around in the bamboo trees and get to learn about their unique characters.

Day 8-9: In Kigali City, Rwanda

One of the most organized and cleanest cities in Africa. You will go on a city tour in this beautiful city. Stop by the Genocide memorial center, the local markets, shopping malls, arts and crafts shops to buy some souvenirs. Spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 10-12: Flight to Kenya and Maasai Mara National Reserve

Catch your flight to Kenya from Kigali airport. Your Kenyan safari guide will pick you up and drive you to Maasai Mara national reserve. The most popular tourist destination in the south of Kenya famed for the great wildebeest migration. The migrants thrilling and action-packed river crossing at the Mara River. Go for game drives at different times of the day for a full game viewing experience in this wildlife filled park. Look out for lions, hippos, elephants, zebras, cheetahs, leopards and more, among hundreds of bird species. Welcome to Kenya

Day 13-14: Transfer to Serengeti National Park and Ngorongoro Crater in Tanzania

Cross the Kenya-Tanzania border into another home to the annual wildebeest migration, Serengeti National Park. Continue following the migrants into the Serengeti in Northern Tanzania. Enjoy the great spectacle, the endless grasslands and the diverse wildlife giving you a chance to spot the loins, elephants, leopards, buffalos and the endangered black rhino (BIG 5) among other animals and a rich birdlife.

Continue your safari into the Ngorongoro conservation area for a game viewing adventure at the floor of the famous Ngorongoro crater.  A world heritage site and natural wonder of the world.
