Day 1: Pick Up
Your company guide will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha or from the airport. You will then drive north toward Serengeti National Park. The drive takes about eight hours and passes through changing landscapes.
You will arrive at your selected safari lodge or camp in time for lunch. After checking in and resting for a short while, you will head out for your first game drive in the Serengeti plains.
This drive gives you a first look at the wildlife and prepares you for the days ahead. You may see animals moving across the open areas as the sun starts to lower.
Dinner and overnight stay at your lodge or camp.
Day 2: Game Drive in Serengeti National Park
After an early breakfast at your lodge or camp, you will leave with a packed lunch for a full day game drive in Serengeti National Park.
The park is home to many predators, large grazing animals, and many bird species. During the game drive, you have good chances of seeing the Big Five animals which include lions, leopards, buffaloes, elephants, and rhinos.
You may also see wildebeests, zebras, giraffes, antelopes, and other wildlife across the plains. If you visit during the migration season, you may witness the Great Wildebeest Migration as large herds move across the park.
You will stop for a picnic lunch in the park before continuing with afternoon game viewing. At the end of the day, you will return to your lodge or camp.

Day 3: Last Day
You will wake up to the sounds of birds in the Serengeti. After breakfast, pack your bags and check out of the lodge.
You will go for one final game drive as you exit the park. This gives you another chance to see wildlife that you may have missed the previous day.
