Day 1: Pick Up from Arusha
You will be picked up from Arusha Airport or from your hotel in Arusha. From here, you will drive to Serengeti National Park. The journey takes about eight hours, passing through changing landscapes along the way.
On arrival in the park, you will check in at your safari lodge or tented camp. This will be your base for the next three nights. After settling in, you will head out for a welcome game drive. This drive gives you your first introduction to the Serengeti and its wildlife.
You may see animals and birds as you explore the surrounding plains. Later, return to your lodge or camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 2 and Day 3: Explore Serengeti National Park
These two days are dedicated to game drives across the Serengeti plains. After breakfast each morning, you will go out for long game drives with packed lunch, allowing you to spend most of the day in the park.
During these drives, you may see large numbers of wildebeests, zebras, and other grazing animals such as gazelles and antelopes, especially during the migration season. These animals move together in search of water and grass and may cross rivers like the Grumeti River.
Other wildlife commonly seen includes lions, leopards, hyenas, elephants, giraffes, cheetahs, and hippos. Bird sightings may include ostriches, African fish eagles, turacos, vultures, and secretary birds.
Optional activities during these days include a hot air balloon safari and a visit to a Maasai village.

Day 4: Departure
After breakfast, you will check out of your lodge or camp. You will enjoy one last game drive as you exit Serengeti National Park, with time to take final photos along the way.
