The Serengeti National Park has two main seasons for entrance fees. These are the peak season and the low season. Peak season runs from 16th May to 14th March, while the low season runs from 15th March to 15th May. Children under the age of five are allowed to enter the park free of charge in both seasons.

East African citizens include nationals of Tanzania, Uganda, Kenya, Rwanda, South Sudan, and Burundi. Expatriates or Tanzania residents are foreigners who legally live in Tanzania. Non East African citizens are all other international visitors.

All fees paid are not refundable once processed. Entrance fees are charged per person per day and do not include Value Added Tax, which is charged separately at 18 percent. Visitors are advised to carry valid identification at all times, as park authorities may request it at entry gates or during checks inside the park.

Payments for Serengeti National Park entrance fees are made through the Tanzania National Parks online reservation system or by using electronic cards such as Visa and MasterCard. Cash payments are not accepted at park gates. It is recommended to complete payment in advance to avoid delays during entry.

Understanding these fees helps visitors plan their Serengeti safari budget clearly and avoid any confusion at park entry points.
