Day 1: Flight to Serengeti National Park
Your 3 days Serengeti flying safari starts with a light aircraft flight from either Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport. During the flight, you enjoy clear views of the land below as you head to the Serengeti.
On arrival at the selected airstrip inside the park, you will be welcomed by our company representative. You will then be driven to your lodge or tented camp for check in. Take time to relax and freshen up before heading out for a late afternoon or evening game drive.
This first game drive gives you a good introduction to the Serengeti wildlife. You may see animals close to your lodge as you explore the park.
Dinner and overnight at your lodge or tented camp.
Day 2: Game Drives (Whole Day)
You wake up to the sounds of birds across the Serengeti. After an early breakfast, you head out for your first game drive of the day.
Early mornings are good for spotting predators such as lions and leopards, which are often active at this time. You also have a chance to see the Big Five animals including elephants, buffaloes, lions, leopards, and rhinos.
Other animals commonly seen include wildebeests, zebras, impalas, giraffes, hyenas, wild dogs, kudus, and dik dik. The open plains also offer wide views of the Serengeti landscape.
You stop for a picnic lunch in the wilderness, giving you time to rest and enjoy your surroundings before continuing with more game drives in the afternoon.
If you visit between June and July, there is a chance to see the Great Wildebeest Migration.
Optional activities include a hot air balloon safari and a visit to a Maasai village. Later in the evening, return to your lodge or tented camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Flight to Arusha
After breakfast, you will be driven to the airstrip for your flight back to Arusha. As you leave the park, keep your camera ready for last wildlife sightings.
This marks the end of your 3 days Serengeti flying safari.
